La Salle College Old Boys Global Reunion

The first was held October 12 - 13, 2002 hosted by the San Francisco and Bay Area Chapter. A total of three teams participated in the first North American Cup Soccer Tournament: Southern California, Vancouver and the host team. After all the close games, the Southern California Chapter went home as the first ever champion of the North American Cup Soccer Tournament.

The next gathering was held August 2 - 3, 2003 hosted by the Vancouver Chapter. The number of teams that participated in the second North American Cup Soccer Tournament increased to 5: Edmonton, San Francisco, Southern California, Toronto and the host team. The host was happy to keep the Cup for another year as the champion.

The third was hosted by the Toronto Chapter between July 30 - August 1, 2004. The teams at the third North American Cup Soccer Tournament included East Coast U.S., Edmonton, San Francisco/Southern California combined, Vancouver and the host team. Once again, the host was able to win the championship. The first ever summit conference was held July 30. Brother Thomas, the last Brother Principal of La Salle, updated the old boys with the latest situation in La Salle. Also attending the conference were the Presidents of the Old Boys' Chapters of East Coast U.S., Edmonton, Hong Kong, San Francisco, Southern California, Toronto and Vancouver.

The gathering then moved to Los Angeles in the following year. It was hosted by the Southern California Chapter on July 29 - 31, 2005. Dr. Paul Lau, the first lay La Salle Principal, who is also an old boy, addressed the audience during the conference and attended the soccer tournament. Toronto Chapter was able to defend the champion.

In 2006, the event was officially named Global Reunion and the first Conference with multi themed-sessions was held. In 2008, it was decided that the annual event became a biennial event starting 2010.
